Hi - I've got a Dimension 9200 computer - chip speed more than 2 GHz - and Deep Fritz. Anyone interested in analysing a position to incredible depths? It analyses 24 moves deep with every possible position considered within a reasonable time (ca. 12 hours) and up to 53 to 71 moves deep for very interesting positions in that time. If so - email me on dy587393@bigpond.net.au

Most people here have software that they can use to do their own analysis.

hmm, maybe you should analyze the cmsmaster - rahimk game after its over, though i doubt it would tell us much

Fritz 10 (perhaps previous versions of Fritz had this too I'm not sure) where it analyzes a complete game for a set amount of time and annotates it just like a human would do. With words describing the position, and alternate lines.

I might do a full analysis (30 mins on core 2 duo should be enough), on the game and post Fritz's analysis here.

I would really appreciate it if you could do some deep analysis of this position, in which my opponent (black resigned). It's still a mystery to me. Did I miss something? Maybe Fritz will have the answer.

Hey ptobler let us meet in the PlayChess engineroom. Don't waste the power of Deep Fritz in analysis, let them use their own brains. Fritz comes with one year free access to PlayChess and in the engine room my single processor Fritz can battle with yours and others.

I would like to know what it thinks is the best first move of the game - with opening books turned off of course.

My opponent just resigned... could you analyze the end position of this game? Game 3187537 I want to see if he could have stuck out for a draw with a rook sac... I thought he would try it, instead, he resigned!

Be careful using deep fritz with a dell. It might melt it. 🙂
