Playing Sicilian alone does not guarantee a sure win gainst King's Pawn. Although it is a popular opening, not everybody can simply play Sicilian and be successful with it. The difference in White's opening basically is that the King's Pawn is more dynamic than Queen's Pawn Opening. Queen's Pawn is more positional. So it depends on the palyer's style of playing. Opening is only one part of the game. There is still the middle game and the endgame to master. Finally, learning openings is about understanding the ideas behind them, not memorizing them.
theres no such thing as a forced win from an opening, like krpvksprv said theres 3 elements to a game opening, middle & end game. Some people say chess dont start till end game. heres a few GM games which defeat the sicilian.

Umm CenterNut I don't know if you noticed but both of those games where black lost using the sicilian, black was an infant. First game black is half a year old, second game black is 2 years old. I would be surprised if their rating was higher than 0.9 repeated.
The draws you stated where prearranged between the players so that they could rest between rounds for real competition.
Of course there are forced wins from an opening look at this: (Im black) 1. g4?? e5!! 2. f4?? Qh5#!!, so you see from the second move of the opening I had a forced win.

Leaving your avg club hack more time to study more important things such as endgames.
You know, in the last ~40 games I've started as black, all bar three have been 1.d4, with one being the Grob and the other two being the English.
Also, I always play 1.e4 and almost everyone (~90😵 replies with the sicilian. Even the non-sicilian players tend to go for strange replys rather than 1...e5 (Scandinavian's very popular for some reason).

Should I give in and join the massed ranks of the Queen's Pawn/Sicilian openers?
