after Qxq and NxQ we have:
[fen]2nr2k1/p3p3/6p1/P1P4p/4N2b/4B3/1P3P2/5RK1 b - - 1 28[/fen]
Baca/white to play.

Originally posted by Mephisto2Good question. The pity is that the White Bishop is on the wrong colour. But by my reckoning with Black hampered by the need to protect against the queening opportunities on the Queen side, the White Rook and King should be able to clean up on the King's side. I'd put my money on the f -pawn.
explain please. which pawn is going to queen?
That is, of course, without doing an exhaustive analysis on the game 😛
Originally posted by buffalobillI don't want to give the impression that I thought the game was a draw. I only meant it was very early to resign. Watching superGM's play, they resign usually much later (and draw too soon).
I should also have said that the end result is far different from what it appears at (my very limited) first sight. A draw is the more likely result, so I wonder why Black resigned at this point?n
I asked Akizy about this game (against Ivanhoe) and he told me, that ivanhoe is his "good friend & they wanted to play only on board"(both of them from Holland). That's why akizy resigned. Game 277620
