I just got back to 1600+ since I started doing 90+%...

btw, I lose a lot of simple won endings in blitz because of time trouble. the kind of positions I should be able to win in 15-20 but lose. pushing the wrong pawn in an uncomplicated won position etc.

back in the day, when you didn't yet do that well in blitz, did you have any special things you did for that kind of problem? they must be the bread & butter of winning in bullet, right?

I'm thinking of gathering a database of such games, and blitzing them against fritz or gnuchess until I can play those drunk, asleep or dead.

yeah simple endgame positions are the most important ones to handle well. I dont remember how did I handled them years ago, I guess about the same I handle today. I think endgame is the aspect of chess that I've managed to improve least since I started playing in club.
