The only meetups I've heard about have happened across the pond, as it were, so if I'm not mistaken this could be the first ever meetup on American soil. But alas, America is a big place, so that probably precludes about 80% of those who live here.

Hey it's a great idea. I'm living in England but if i had the time, money and of course wasn't married i'd be booking my ticket. Never even been to the USA. Also Isn't Boston associated with the great harry nelson Pillsbury? I'm sure this was the chess club he played for.
