Post games where your or your opponents king were brave and wondered to the opponents territory before the endgame.....heres a start.....Game 2438489
Game 2329365......I think it would be interesting to see a game where the side with the brave king wins.
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1278769....if anyone has anything remotly similar please post beacause it's alaways fun to see His Majesty take part in the middlegame.
its not too bright to use your king in the middle game or bring it out in the open during the middle game. they only time its alright for a king to help out is when its a closed position and he is still protected. usually and as a rule of thumb you should only bring out king out to the middle of the board when most of the pieces are off the board to be mated with.

The "His Majesty steps out" collection. Some of the games are really funny:http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chesscollection?cid=1001225
i remember maurice ashley giving a lecture on it....his king goes from one side of the board, to the other, and then he continues the attack.
as for those games being funny, not really, but insightful most definatly.
a lot of the time, players tend to forget that the king is capable of doing things himself, which is what i liked in that collection -- the king was used as aggressivly, and not wrapped up in cotton wool

Well I think the only insghtful ones were the ones were the king got out of cover willingly like the famous nigel short one....but there are some where the king get's chased into the enemy camp and there he helps checkmate the other king wich i found ironic.
the first game in the collection springs to mind.
