Carlsen lost to 1. e4 e5 2. Qh5 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Qf7 mate.?
I kind of half believe it. I lost a blitz game like that v Fat Lady in a blitz game
about a year ago.
OK I was wee bit tipsy but had just came back from Bells where I had beaten
a few good players at blitz during the evening.
But it's still incredible.

75% of your moves were theory and have been played thousands of times before, but congratulations on finding a TN so early in such a hoary old line.
Here's the t-shirt I had made to commemorate the occasion:

Though since I've had the tattoo done I hardly wear it anymore.

Apparently this was played in a longer series of games where Qxf7# occurred repeatedly ...
Norwegian chess ace Magnus Carlsen (18) on Wednesday won the World Blitz Championship 2009 - FINAL in Moscow, and became the world's youngest world blitz champion, NRK reports.
After 40 of the total of 42 games were completed, Caarlsen led by 3.5 points, and could not be beaten.
- This is unbelievable. Carlsen is the youngest world blitz chess champion ever, says Secretary General of the Norwegian Chess Federation, Dag Danielsen.
