The man was late to the table, played passive, picked his nose, I missed something and he won, a pants game right up to the point of the handshake.....Cold clammy limp ( can't be arsed to shake your hand , even though I got away with feckin murder with that one , would love to play that jinx on you again ) damp cloth of a handshake......and the person said ' You coulda won that one early on '!!!!!

I notice a lot of chess players have that cold limp handshake, it is disgusting.

dude dude, let me make you feel better, here Robbie was having a great position,
winning a piece, and went from the board gleeful to return and collect his prize!
the light squared bishop!

what move did Robbie play? Qxg4? nope, Robbie played Bxg4 and my opponent
naturally gleeful to get out of such a predicament played...? ...Qf1# spit ding!

I got my revenge though!

Is this why I prefer playing on RHP?
No handshakes, no picking noses, no any bad social behaviour...
And we have the Ignore List so you don't even to have whining comments.
I wish there was something like Ignore List at OTB games too.

i think Fabian that if i was playing someone socially and they exhibited bad social behaviour or the personal hygiene of a mountain goat i would just get up and leave. if it was a tournament then that is different, but socially well........ there must be ways of dealing with such anti social behaviour, you could maybe just take it and then give ones opponent a good thrashing , errr i mean talking to in a dark corner after the game! I wonder what happens when one reciprocates the behaviour? it simply brings it down to their level, there must be a way of discouraging this type of thing. its why i oppose informal dress at chess events, everyone should be smartly dressed and well groomed, as per gentlemen and ladies! i would definitely wear a suit a tie, even at local events.

OTB ignore list = make fist, aim at opponent's chin, release with maximum power

Extra benefit is you might win the game on time 🙂

The last 365 days I've played 340 games at RHP, not noticing anyone smelling mountain goat. That's the best part of HP.

8. ... c6 is impossible. The knight from 4. ... Nc6 is still standing there.
