Ok, what will happen if black plays Rook to d8?

I am pretty sure, the white knight can't move and give me a check from f6 (since it is pinned against his king). But just wanted to confirm, before losing a piece 😛

Do not ask for help or use computers.....
Of course, I could tell you that your about to make the biggest blunder which would cost you the game, But if I told you that I would be helping you cheat -- Which I'm not going to do....
Play the (a) move and learn from your mistakes....oh, and wins

Huh, what is that?
Bit of a convoluted explanation but you get my drift
It's a moot point now because the game has moved past the position that was being asked about, but in the future please note that asking about the effect a move will have or any other advice on a game in progress is not allowed. I appreciate that you were asking for advise on the general rules of the game, but by posting the game in question you made it specific to a game in progress. I dare say that if you'd asked "if moving a piece would leave his king in check but also get my king in check, is it allowed?" or similar then this would have been seen as a more general 'rules of the game' question & no one would have cared.
Short answer - you can't make a move that puts your king in check even if it results in the opponents king also being in check.
Originally posted by FabianFnasI've often wondered about this, because there is a game with triple castling, which is often referenced as a record. and in the third castling the white king has moved already. can anyone clarify this?
... and neither king nor rook not been moved during the game.
