Yeah, I love crushing patzers like you with the King's Gambit. Just kidding. No, on a serious note, might try the Falkbeer's Counter Gambit. Good to face the King's Gambit with that dark weapon.

That was the first and only time I have ever played it - a Birds transposed to KG then FCG and I got lucky.
The main line is:
1. e4 .. e5;
2. f4 .. d5;
3A. Nf3 .. dXe; 3B.eXd .. c6;
4A. NXP .. Bd6; 4B. Nc3 .. eXf;
5A. Bc4 .. BXN; 5B. Nf3 .. Nf6;
6A. fXB .. Nf6; 6B. d4 .. Bd6;
7A. e6 .. BXP; 7B. Qe2+ .. Qe7;
8A. BXB .. fXB; 8B. QXQ .. KXQ;
[other moves are possible for both sides]

When I played the KNG I never saw this move - probably because it looks a little strange. But it has a purpose, basically it's the same purpose as the Fischer Defense, and is as Fischer would probably put it, "somewhat of a high class waiting move." I'm sure many KNG player's don't have much of an idea on how to face it.
