Worse, Black gets checkmated, unless he plays 10...Kg8. And anyway can't black play 9...Nd7 or Bd7?
9th move wasn't the issue, 9.Kf8 was already played. it loses on the spot of course.

I just read the terms of service, and it's just what i expected, text to cover there ass in case some nut job wants to sue, there is nothing there related to RHP's forums. Nothing there to say people have to post information that will benefit everyone including elady.
Was it this bit you referred to:
(b) While a game is in progress you may not refer to chess engines, chess computers or be assisted by a third party. Endgame tablebases may not be consulted during play but you may reference books, databases consisting of previously played games between human players, and other pre-existing research materials.
I am having his combination for myself, regardless of the source of the inspiration - I see that position so often in the dragon that it is definately a useful mate to know.
Another game using f4 vs. the Dragon. This time beast scared me of and I settled for a draw in a superior position. I’ve got a bit of a yellow streak when it comes to playing higher rated players. If I get a good position I panic and offer a draw. Anyway, it seems to me that the natural looking 6. … Bg7 is a mistake. White seems to get a huge attack.
After the game my opponant pointed out that 11. Ng5 is a killer and I think he’s right.
Hi Peacedog - enjoyed our pints together in Bells.
(I won't post the 5 minute games you lost - we were both drunk).
Never over estimate your opponent, if you think you have a higher
graded player on the ropes then you should go for it.
What have you got to lose.
I suppose you have both looked at the position and 11.Ng5 looks OK
but my eye was drawn to the pinned Knight.
Does 11.Bc4, not win a piece or is there a tactical come back?
I can't see one.
