U don't know who are u speaking with so don't say anything about Edmond. He is a wonderful person and look at well your match. Your position was a LOSING one. U would NEVER won that match and u know it. But if u are happy to win in this way u can do. Up to u. According to me is not sportif but was your right to ask TO. Take the win, be happy (if u can), but don't say anything else about Edmond, please.

In terms of the timeout. One thing I very often do before deciding on a time-out is to check if my opponent times his opponents out. If they do so often, I am more inclined to time out. A quick look at Dantes' record should reveal that he is no stranger to the concept of timing opponents out. In fact he seems to be a rather avid participant in this regard. He is clearly a very good player but that record was looking way to perfect so big up for Feivel !!l

Originally posted by FeivelI'm playing Edmond in the new server tournament. In both our games, which are in opening stages, he's not moving. In fact, he's eating his timebank.
He should stop pressing his luck by moving faster than once every 6 days 23 hours and 45 minutes otherwise this will not be his only TO. I already let the TO pass before but I was recently told he is pulling the same waiting game against others in the top 20.
Feivel the Freethinker
I have to agree with Feivel that Edmond is pressing his luck by not moving until he has almost no time left at all.

Seems to me that two things are true:
1) 330 games without a loss is an amazing record. Respect! 😲
2) Time management is as much a part of the game as moving the pieces around the board. If he entered into a timed game and got himself timed-out... tough! He can only blame himself.

you forget the point timeouts will be automatically claimed in tournaments. Guess where the timeouts of Edmond Dantes were from.
Number of time-outs claimed in tournament games: 46
Number of time-outs claimed in clan games: 7
Number of time-outs claimed in ordinary games: 2
A staggering, grand total of 55 games!
Originally posted by David TebbI don't say he won't claim timeouts at all, but 46 in tournament is mostly due to his 4 1-day timeout tournaments he played.
