Winters has a nice site. I kind of lost interest though. It was the time he settled the long debate about the role call at New York 1924.
The original records stated that half the field said here and the other half said present.
After years and years of deep research, the truth finally came out.

Em Lasker --- was actually late for roll call. This explains his first round bye. He did scream "Hier!" loud and clear right before his round two game with Capablanca.
I can sure sleep better at night knowing that Winter uncovered the truth once and for all.
