Game 2224022
I happened to watch the last few moves of this game as it appeared on the homepage. I think my eyes have been seared out.
For the safety of all RHP users i kindly request that neither of you come with in 10 paces of a chess board or chess event ever again.

Originally posted by aginisGoodness me! Black was doing ok (apart from overlooking a few en pris pieces, but white was literally offering them up in droves!) then white delivers mate! They will both improve with a little practise, hopefully they'll look back at that game and have a little chuckle. 😀

Originally posted by aginisGosh. We all have to learn. I was down under 1100 when I first started, I wouldnt have enjoyed people taking the p*** out of my mistakes. Why dont you offer them some help instead of just standing up only to slam them.

Originally posted by BedlamThank you. I'm yet to meet anybody that can start playing 1400+ chess right away, these guys obviously need advice, not insults.

Originally posted by cmsMasterI wonder what the average GMs rating was when they first started. Probably very difficult to find out without asking them.

Can you imagine it [White] Kasparov (1245) hehehehe
Originally posted by Bedlamkasparov was probably a LOT worse when he started. 😀 what was he, 5-6 years old?

seirawan describes a couple of his 'early brilliant games' in 'winning chess openings, and it's just horrible. I certainly wasn't that bad when I started. he was also incredibly stubborn with it, and didn't want to give up the 'brilliancies' even when they blew up on his face time after time. 🙂
so there is hope for everyone. it just takes a lot of work and years.
Originally posted by BedlamI wonder if there are people now that have memories of beating Kasparov when he was sub 1400...

Originally posted by cmsMasterIt is obvious from the rating that the two people involved are playing chess as hobby and are not professionals. To publically ridicule beginers for poor play is truly tasteless. I think the best thing about this site is it allows all people to play.

Originally posted by jofazI agree that public ridicule isn't necessary. However, given that one of the players has completed 679 games on this site, I don't think it makes sense to call her a "beginner."

Originally posted by EnigmaticCamGood catch. If I'd played that game, I think I would have held off on calling out others until it was buried a little deeper in my archives.
