the good part about rook endgames is that by making the inacurate move you do not usually go from win to loose, but only from win to draw or from draw to loose

I think the biggest problem with the rook is not the rook itself; but that the rook demands a much higher degree of accuracy from the other pieces.

Knights in time pressure are a nightmare.
