Yup.
It's a different ball game all together.
Having said that I seen some incredible howlers on here much
worse than anything I have ever seen at OTB play.
It's 'cos here there are home & casual players, players who never
think of playing in a congress or a league match and play chess
just for the fun of playing chess.
For a wee while (about 10 minutes) I thought W was a machine
that Russ was using to give everyone something to aim for.
And then I thought maybe Russ has 6 or 7 machines running out
there under odd names. The idea being if anyone beat them they
they must be using a box. A kind of cheat to catch a cheat thing.
And then I thought maybe everyone is a machine and all these forums
and all these guys - you included, are just one person - Russ playing
one big joke on me.
And then I heard my wife saying Russ's name in her sleep and this
extra razor blade appeared in the bathroom and these Homer Simpson
slippers showed up, size 10.
I don't wear size ten slippers....

...didn't we forget that CC is different from OTB, given also the fact that RHP actually does permit consulting certain reference sources, you've got Analyse Board, plenty of time per move etc.

What's the price? A dollar twice!
What's the reason? Grapes in season!
What's the action? Satisfaction!
(Heard frequently on the campus of the College of William and Mary in Virgina [USA], established by Royal Charter by William and Mary in 1692. The grapes, mysteriously, have no vintage).
The only evidence is a red wine stain on the back of a vinyl chessboard, dating to 1987, that will not come out. Another player on the site, Bralen, will attest to the done deed.
