I really wish I knew what peoples ratings were when I Played them, because I don't think this is an accurate assessment of his playing strneght at the time.
Game 1599785
It appears that I blundered on move 5 and he didn't notice until mvoe 6 (too late).
It's not promising that the majority of my wins are against 1400 and low 1500 players.
Edit: going through my other folders I found this one:
Game 1635521 - once again I have no idea what his rating was at the time, but since mine has never topped 1720 and it was a clan challenge...
Edit again: not much to see here, it looks luck he blundered very early on in a Zaitsev variation of the Benko.
Originally posted by zebanoif it was within your last 300 games, you can get ratings at end of the game by hovering your mouse over the rating graph. also if it's within his last 300 games, in case you've played more than 300 already...

This one may or may not count:
Game 1288846

Game 1384416
He was 2253 at the time (and like many upsets there was a major blunder to finish).
My next highest is a good few hundred points lower.
Won this one today - chuffed! Getting better - watch out :lol:Game 1893971 But he got greedy at the start, turned from there...
Originally posted by onyx2006Yes, he got far too greedy. I mean 3. ..Qg5? (from my limited experience, 3. ..Qa5 is better) and 5. ..Qxg2?? Surprised that someone of that rating would make such moves. Suppose not many people are used to the Scandinavian defence.

Well done for exploiting those weaknesses though and gaining the strong advantage. 🙂

PS, Qa5... was afraid he might do that!
Originally posted by onyx2006Seeing as it's a defense, your opponent was playing it. 1.e4 d5 while you can play the Tennison gambit 2.Nf3 ?? exd5 leads into the scandenavian or center counter defense. Actually I think they are differnt 1 being caracterized by ... Qxd5, Nc3, Qa5 the other by Qxd5, Nc3, Qh5. Qg5 is unheard of as far as I know but 2. ... Nf6 is also playable (and in my estimation the best option). I'm too lazy to look these things up for sure so feel free to correct me.
