I am sure there are other factors as well. I think most here are reluctant to say much due to fear of getting into trouble. 😉 That and to protect their own methods of detection.

I realize that you can't use software to see if someone cheated using software until after the game is over, of course. But that seems about the only way to be sure someone cheated. And there are a lot of engines, so you would have be a real engineer and detective.
