Here's how I found it...
1. The first thing I do when I look at any position (usually) is look for a queen sac... that kinda makes things faster 😛
2. I recognised that black didn't have any king moves and all I needed to do was land a check, hence the disregard of material.
Took about 2 seconds to find it and about another 3 or 4 to confirm that it worked... I'd hate to blow it 😛..

It took about 15 seconds. The first thing you notice is that the black king has nowhere to go so you need to divert the defenders. Once you see that a Queen sacrifice becomes obvious.
Edit: Having now read the rest of this thread I didn't recognise the position but I think 15 seconds is accurate as it took me 5 seconds just to get the overall position into my head then 2.5 seconds to find the solution but I had to think about it for an additional 7.5 seconds as I thought there was supposed to be something tricky here.
