I've made 60 moves in a one minute game using a touch pad on a lap top, and then listened to my opponent complain about his mouse. It's not the technology that wins and loses.

That kind of speed also requires the use of premove, which can be dangerous--so many time I've lost my queen because my opponent played the unexpected Bg5 in his position (or one like it) and I had already played Nc6 as my next move.
