Chess is one of the few endeavors that is not racist. Why? Because in chess, you can not be helped by affirmative action programs, nor can silly, effete white liberals that feel guilty for being born white offer you a leg up because they feel sorry for you or because they doubt your ability to compete with whitey. Most importantly, the outcome of the game is truly dependent upon your own ability. Therefore, chess is not racist.

So you're saying there's nothing to the rumours that intellectually bereft leftist organizations have joined in a push to give pawn odds to under represented minorities?

At my local Sainsbury's the pedestrian crossing in the car park both starts & finishes with a white painted oblong bracketing the other alternate black & white ones but obviously out-numbering them, nonetheless.

Do you think I should mention it to the local council?

It is clearly racist! Not only does it start with white but there are more of them.

Except if you're white, of course. Then you get to go first and get a couple percent better chance of winning.

Seriously though, I get so sick of this anti-affirmative action nonsense. Perhaps you would be happier in a third world county that doesn't bother to attempt to equalize its citizenry.

Try this exercise. Make a list of countries with progressive social policies. Make another list of countries with high standards of living. See any correlation?

i, being completely objective, have to add that not all whites are equal. so, i do feel sympathy towards the hapless white citizenry--it is the charitable/christian thing to do.
