Uh, IDK what you're thinking, but !~Tony~! taught me some sick ways to play 1.d4. Not boring at all.
I only wish I hadn't blundered my queen, and found the right variations to mate - but the time pressure was intense - and the pizza guy came to the door right in the middle of the game 😠!

1 d4 Nf6 2 e4 Nxe4 3 Nc3 Nxc3 4 bxc3 (Koploy Gambit*)
*I don't know if Mr. Koploy ever played this opening, but he showed it to me a couple of decades ago.
Well I guess Gata Kamsky is a patser since he uses the London reguarly. Same with Blatny. Maybe with that time saved studying openings they can maybe do...I dont know... Tactics 😛. Or heaven forbid study endgames. In OTB most people at my level cant punish the London because they cant run and get their shredder or NCO ECO or NCO. The London is a great way to avoid traps, but still have an edge to outplay the weaker opponet or draw the higher rated ones.

ok, wth is wrong with you!?ðŸ˜
That's even more pathetic (as in less exciting...for all those touchy d4 players...) than my 4. g3 Four Knights, at least that's an open game!

I'm a horrible blitzer, and the other guys weren't any better, but these games show how my 1.d4 always turn into madness.
