1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 Nxd5 allows the fried liver, however black has a better move: 5...Na5.
But if you want to play firework openings I would say 1. e4 with white
playin open games ( Nc3 vs the french, kings gambit, open sicilians)
this will take a big amount of time to study though,
well, if u need some advice dont hesitate to send a message)
A friend of mine swears by the Halloween Gambit - it's not particuarly easy for an unprepared black to deal with:
1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Nxe5?! Nxe5 5. d4! ... and white follows the retreat with 6. e5 next move. Black has a lot of compensation, though not nearly enough to actually make the opening sound.
Originally posted by OrangeKingThis opening is incorrect. In my opinion one of the best way to refute it is after 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Nxe5 Nxe5 5. d4 Nc6 6. d5 Ne5 7. f4 Ng6 8. e5 (the best white resnponses to black moves) playing 8... Bb4 giving back a piece but, getting large positional advantage.

Try the Morra gambit against anyone who plays the Sicilian against you.
It's highly tactical & full of pitfalls for the unsuspecting black player.
1.e4...c5 2.d4...cxd4 3.c3...dxc3 4.Nxc3
It gives you plenty of chances to get an early attack underway with a gain of an extra tempo & open c & d files to put your rooks on to pressure the centre.
The position after move 4 is this:

I know I am a weak player, but simply setting up the pieces for the first 10 moves bores me. I need openings that involve fireworks from the very beginning. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated for my ADHD ridden brain.
or Morra Gambit if black plays 1. .. c5, e.g. Game 2868884
Both these are sounder than the Fried Liver and less easy for black to avoid.
Fireworks are guaranteed.
Of course if you really feel brave try the Grob, 1. g4, e.g. Game 2303869 as white dictates the game from the outset. Enter the current Grob Tournament to give it a try.

Unless I'm mistaken games at 1300-1500 usually end because of the following reasons :-
- overlooking a simple attack
- giving away/receiving free pieces
- Attacks with a Queen while the other pieces are undeveloped.
See the how to remain under 1400 for ever thread.

Learn tactics & basic strategy, but concentrate on tactics.
Practice some endgames with a view of understanding how the individual pieces move & can be used in harmony in a pretty empty board.
Also, don't resign early. Play until the bitter end and against slightly better players, say 1350-1450 & see how they finish you off when they go ahead.
Try not to make 1 mistake after another though - if you lose a piece or whatever, try to consolidate.
Always ask yourself "why did he just make that move?"
Assess the situation asking yourself:
1) What threats do I now face
2) What threats do I pose?
3) Can I force a move that improves my attacking potential?
That's very basic (as it can only really be) but hope it helps.
