Hi Mike.

But Black is still on the a1 Rook.

In the original game the same idea is also found wanting thanks
again to the loose Rook on a1.

Wow RJ, I must have missed something there. To my untrained patzer eye, it almost appears that black won your "bust" to my bust of your line.
Kudos to your greatness. 😞

RJ that ridiculous 6...Qxg7+ is a computer move.
It's what these things do to avoid getting mated one move quicker,
a human would never even consider it.

Join in by all means but leave the box out of it.

You're human. No one sees everything all the time, fact.

A human would normally just resign. However, the purpose of my previous post was to show the shortest move to a forced checkmate. Then ChessPaxis had to chime in with 6...QxR (Qxh1), which is not a shorter way to checkmate even though it may have ended the game quicker. Of course, the computer is likely to play the best move that prolongs the game, but in this case, there are only two choices that I see. So what would a human like you play?

P.S. By the way, the move is for white and would really be 7.Qxg7+ and not 6...Qxg7+ as appears on the pgn. I suppose you would give up your knight first and then your queen from what you say in order not to prolong the mate, right? Maybe you would just make some other dumb move and get checkmated immediately like a stupid Brit.

All I know is, any player that can see QxR and doesn't snap up the rook without a second thought needs a bitch slap.

Tell greenpawn34 about it. He did not snap it up, but played Qc3+ in an attempt to get a forced checkmate, I believe, but did not see it. I was just improving on his idea.

Wrong again Honey.

If you read the post I was showing Mike that the a1 Rook was hanging after his
Qg5 idea. so showed him that line and used his Qg5 move to trade down into
a simple win.

My final note.

"Is just one way to wrap it up."

Indicating you could win this in various ways. I was trying to be instructive.

"...in an attempt to get a forced checkmate, I believe, but did not see it."

Please don't try with the aid of your computer to figure out what I am doing,
you really don't have a clue and neither does your computer.

I don't give a toss about you using your computer in your games, but keep
the thing out of the forum. Using it to pass yourself of as good chess player
is a gross insult to all the good players that do (and used to...you have trolled them off) post on here.
