Anyway forget that topic, Trekkie who is in the open invites now who has a rating 1277 is only accepting a challenge above 2100, and people said mine was daft.

You're quite right about that. The latest open invites are totally nuts.I think I'll put one up asking for players above 2300 πŸ˜‰

Hey, if the invites are restricted to certain ranges of ratings they're not really "open". Maybe the title should be changed!

They are open to everyone.A 1000 player can accept an invite requesting a 1800+ player. But the game will porbably be deleted by the the player that put up the invite.
At least, that's how it used to be.Did Russ change this when he improved the invite system?

When you go to "New games advanced options", it says "Open invite ratings limit. Open invite acceptance can be limited to players within the specified limits". I assume if a game isn't "accepted" it never goes to your games and doesn't havee to be deleted. Right?

Yes,now with advanced options in the ''new game'' page you can select the rating range for your invite and if I want 1300+ there's no way someone rated 1000 picks up the invite.

Yes,if nobody accepts the invite it just stays in the open invites list
