Maybe so, but stupid answers can be more stupid than stupid questions. I would think just giving a straight answer without trying to make it more complicated than it really is, would be the best solution no matter how old they are, their position, or how long they have been here at RHP rather than trying to make someone look like a fool. To me it is ju ...[text shortened]... a rock. What good is intelligence if you don't share it in a simple intelligent unselfish way?
Asking questions to which the answers could be gleaned from an ounce of effort stinks of laziness.
Every time I have a question I could easily find the answer to by looking in the FAQ, or browsing my own profile graph, should I instead lazily put up a thread asking someone to make the effort for me?
What good is gaining information without effort? It will only lend to future laziness and willingness to get information second hand.
and personally I feel in this case, the position and experience of the player does count. Perhaps the next time he has a question he might stop and think "could I just answer this question myself if I spend 5 minutes perusing the FAQ?"
btw, thanks for the insightful psychoanalysis of my post 🙄

I read the FAQ the first week I subscribed in 20 minutes.

I never implied you were stupid Huckleberry, just that your question was, just so we're clear I had no interest in defaming your character or person.
