So does the states.

How do you guys elect someone who you guys hate? I don't understand it.

Thousands of people on tv, saying bush this, bush that.

But yet they elected him!

Opinions change...

Plus, not /everyone/ voted for him.

They liked him, now they don't, I guess people trusted that he would make better decisions second term, or thought that the troubles he had first term were carry over from Clinton.

Either way, they were wrong - I can't answer for sure, I couldn't vote then.

There was no mistake. More than 50% of the voters liked Bush, even the second time around. I fail to see how that makes the United States as a whole stupid.

It seems every non-American has an extremely biased view of Americans as being idiots and that Bush magically just wished himself into the White House second term....

Or everyone just thought that Kerry was a monumental douchebag.

Since he didnt offer any real confidence as an alternative, the Bush hating was the best thing he had going for him. He still couldnt manage to make anything of it however.

after the second election he has alienated his Christian conservative base to a large extent, whose support they had targeted in both elections and they were a big reason he was e and re-elected, which is why the Dems took back Congress and Bush is taking it on the chin from nearly all quarters now.

This thread is very amusing. 🙄
