One of the more recent incredible games I've seen.

I wonder what newcomers think of these games.
😕

Wow, just wow.

A plethora of hanging pieces, missed opportunities, and blunders. I don't understand why people bother playing competitive chess when they don't understand the game. It's a waste of time...

I'm pretty sure GMs and IMs feel the same about my games. One IM went as far as saying of one of my games, "What is this? This is garbage. Absolute garbage." 😞

Hi 93confirmed

These games may appear horrid to our 'trained' eyes but these
guys are having fun and because they don't take it as seriously
as we do they are probably enjoying it more it than we do.

To me it does show the wonderful diversity of Chess.

The same game with the same rules can produce games like the ones
we are making merry with and yet also produce games we can marvel at.

I see Zenic has mated with the Bishop and Knight and today appeared
on page 1.

Hi Meadows.

I've seen some of your games....It's good garbage 😉

I've heard this years ago from an IM in reply to someone who
said I played a subtle move.

"Chandler is a caveman with a one tracked mind. He's as subtle
as a brick through your window. Just don't let him near your King."

I think it was a compliment.

If chess games are snow flakes then these are the ones that never hit the ground.

This doesnt mean we cant catch them all before then, combine them into a ball and hurl them at someone.

I see another entertaining Zenic has hit the front page.

He will be placing this one in his 'swindles' folder.

He's Black and actually wins this with a Knight mate.

Last night/early this morning, he underpromoted to a bishop and then a knight and mated that way. It was actually pretty entertaining. (The bishop and knight mate appeared on the main page.)

***** Edit:

Right after posting this, I clicked the home page. All three mates were Zenic games !!!

Zenic - jkmelancon 0-1

Zenic - Britannicus 1-0

Zenic - katella 1-0 ... Mate By Pawn

This guy really has some battles !!!
