As Woody Allen said once "Bad guys must have understood something that Good guys didnt"
When a player rated higher than me makes some obvious blunder while playing with me, I always propose them a instant draw, so they can keep their ranking, notifying them that I dont care about my rating.
I like to play with higher ranking when I am experimenting some kind of new opening - just to prove me that I am wrong, eh eh
But for the rest I have no problem playing with any beginner. I mean thats the way everybody has learnt and improved.
What happen to my killer instinct!
oh well...

everyone knows you and the others weren't planning to leave and it was a joke. just because you don't like the person it isn't taking as a joke and the user gets banned.
now, i saw you threaten to smack another user in the head and yet from your mentally ill world this gets put down as a joke and not harrasement. where is that user now? they don't even take part in the forums.

i reckon he/she may have been more concerned at the way certain people behave like war-lords than wanting to cheat. power-trippers!
OK you get it up to say 1600. Now unless you use an engine you get slaughtered. Anyone rated 1600 can tell they are playing a total patzer.
I can't see any point in this. Is it a joke?

i'm pointing out what's the difference? in one situation it's OK and in the other the user get's banned. i'm asking why it takes on a different meaning?
it's also crossing the same lines threatening to smack someone in the head. no?

i'm talking about xanthos harrasing members at this site... so not cheating lines but the rules of the house.
we all know nobody was going to leave and it was just a joke. you know maybe grumpy had lost someone close to him through cancer and when xanthos is allowed to make jokes about that he may have thought those running this place to be a joke to justify that as ok. it's ok to joke about people with cancer, but not about cheating?
