maybe a little less, +/- 300
playing conditions differ
you may or may not focus more over-the-board
you may or may not use books for internet games
in my case, RHP = USCF minus 250.
bottom line is of course that RHP CC and OTB are very different types of chess, and in addition to that people focus on each differently like you said.
There will always be extremes. I think most people would be interested in the average. If you cut out the 15% extremes on both ends, what would the average result?
I think it would be intersting to see the ratings from mulitple sites compared to OTB rating. But I don't think there are all that many people who are actively playing OTB and actively playing internet chess. If there are, I don't think they are posting to the forums.

no, I'm saying there are well known examples for both extremes. the +-500 is an observed fact, not a guess.
Funny how yours is +-500... to cover your spread?
I've seen your regular games are 1400ish and your RHP games are 2000+...??
Everyone knows you are 1400-1500 at best.
Go to a real tournament and be humbled.
Chess.com ratings are incredibly inflated and you were 1810 there?
Hell I was 1900 and I am only 1400 here....hmmm....
At the ICC you are 1500 at best....hmmm...
Do I need to go on?
I've been following you for years...I await the day the truth comes out.
You know what I am talking about.
By the way...my progress is right on schedule. And it's real. 😉
