This is an instructive position based on the mobility of the white rook.
I will show why the first line in my quoted post wins for white.
Black now has two moves to prevent the threat of 4.Qg6+ Kh8 5.Rh5# and they are 3...Kf7 and 3...Rf7. However, 3...Kf7 loses horribly to Qxf6+
The more difficult move is 3...Rf7.
