Wind assisted not wind powered. I'm too tired to look but you must be one of the jokers who was saying that you cannot challenge Anand's line of play (simply because he is Anand).
If you notice my style of posting I hate spam/crap posted in the Only Chess forum (that kind of crap can go in the General Forum). I also dislike people who argue when their point ...[text shortened]... I'm less busy we can "fight it out" over the board and see who plays wwind assisted chess?
Wind assisted not wind powered either way its the same thing as Arrakis calling someone a hustler, its his or your opinion based on their actions and nothing more.
As for playing you OTB, who knows maybe we already have. Can I come back and say you are as much as a jerk in real life as you are on RHP or would that hypercitiically be considered slander too?

I'm sorry to awaken you from cloud cuckooland but hey welcome to the world! I meant playing you here at RHP in CC chess rahter than at OTB chess.

If you think Nigel Short doesnt say simlar things to the first post then you really havent talked to him or been around when he is talking....
Playing OTB is much more fun, but I wont say no to a game on RHP.

Once you finish what you are doing tell us :-
- why cheating accusations are not allowed on this forum(s)
- why you have not approached the USCF or the tournament director of the relevant tournament. What will you achieve via the route chosen rather than via the appropriate official route? Gossip value?

Anand had tried to sac his way out of a difficult position. But the fact that he was probably lost even without making the sac was lost on you. I love it when fish try to instruct strong GM's on chess strategy. Thanks for the entertainment.
Sometime in the eighty's Michigan had this really cool tournament in Detroit that was called The Motor City Open. This tournament became a prestigious even for Michigan players to play in and drew a lot of strong players.
Because it was always a Swiss System, the strong players didn't play each other until the 3rd round. So here it was in round 3 that my good friend Morgan Everett was playing an Expert from Ohio in that round.
Morgan, playing Black, was under a little pressure but had managed to win the exchange. All he had to do now was make the best move he could and make time control. Then he could take the extra hour to grind out his win.
All the other games had been concluded so there had to be 8-12 people swarmed around Morgan's game (including myself).
So Morgan had 2 minutes left to make one move... We all saw the move. I'm sure Morgan saw the move... he had to capture his opponent's knight - a move which would make time control and force the queens off, giving him a won endgame.
But he wasn't moving. Why wasn't he moving!? We looked at his clock. Morgan looked at his clock. MOVE MORGAN MOVE!!! was racing thru our brains.
Suddenly Morgan looked at the clock and saw he was down to his last 60 seconds... The spectators looked around at each other with nervous glances... didn't Morgan know he had to move quickly?
35 seconds... then BAM!! Morgan moved like lightning! Quicker than the eye could follow he snatched up the opponent's knight and slammed it down on the clock button.

I once played a match against the Metropolitan Chess Club in London. I don't know if it's still the case now, but at the time the youngest member of the club was about 60 and the average age about 70. Obviously no women members. It was that sort of club.
Anyway, the match was tied at 5.5-5.5 and my friend had a better position in his game, the last to finish, against an old boy who must have been 75 if he was a day.
Usually you expect older players to tire as the game progresses, and I've often got undeserved victories against old men just by playing moves until they get exhausted. However in this game the Metropolitan player gradually turned the game around, turning a pawn deficit into a pawn plus.
Our only chance was the clock - he only had five minutes to make his last few moves. He didn't panic, he played his thirtieth move (the time control was 30 in 1.25 hours) and sat back breathing a sigh of relief. Without pressing his clock. The rules say that the move isn't over until you press the clock.
Our team all held our breath, hoping he would forget for another 60 seconds, the Metropolitan players all gathered together, staring very obviously at the clock, hoping their guy would notice. He didn't. The clock ticked away until with about ten seconds left the captain of the Metropolitan team said in a loud voice "Could someone tell me the TIME please?". His player frowned at him and held a finger to his lips, asking him to keep the noise down, and with that the flag dropped and our team let out a loud chear!
