I will take them in tournaments and clan league gamesbut not friendlies
As has been said a few times, there's really no reason to feel guilty, just as there's no reason to feel guilty about flagging someone OTB. It's part of the game, designed to ensure both players have an equal amount of thinking time.

The problem you have is shown by your statement, "Both times I took the free win." This was NOT a free win! You invested a lot of YOUR TIME in those games and deserved that your opponent move in a timely manner.
If you were playing in an OTB tournament and your opponent's flag fell, you would be considered an amateur for not claiming a win.
I claim ALL timeouts. Read my home post to see why.

If the agreed time has elapsed, then it's just too bad if you're too busy working in the office, or you've decided to go on a long holiday. It's all in the game. While you're away, your time ran out, so I'll take the win. When you're back from your holidays, we might be able to play again. But that new game has nothing to do with the earlier game that I won.
