yes u'll allowed to adjust the opponents pieces as long as u say adjust otherwise if u don't then the touch rule applies and that pieces must be captured.... I had a game on thursday 2 weeks ago where i adjusted my pieces before the start of the game and my opponent,hehe we're friends, rudely reached over the board and adjusted my pieces which i had just adjusted even before the game started ahaha...i thought that was rude but i know it was off center a bit hehhe...

πŸ™‚ I was playing a tournament a few weeks ago and one of my opponents was late (a morning game strangely enough!) so to add to his distraction I put all his pieces off centre on their squares. He fixed all of them before making his first move. He lost on time at the end too! πŸ˜€
