Yes thats a very nice line against the KIA.
That particular section has served me very well as quite a few players in my area employ a KIA setup against practically everything. I haven't got to try the gambit yet though, as in the critical position everyone plays Ng5 instead of Bh3. 😞

I have Aris French defense DVD also, its awesome, especially the line against the Kings Indian attack, the one, not in the base! 😉 but alas the French is not for me, although i learned a lot of excellent concepts from that DVD.
Anything with name french in it shouldn't be good enough for a scotsman!

Lol, and why not my friend, for we are known as the Auld (old) alliance! for when the good cause of the Jacobites was thwarted in 1746 and the best blood of the Highlands was spilled on Drumossie moor (battle of Culloden), where did those harried souls find sanctuary, but with their French allies.

however tomtom my friend you will notice that i have put way the banner of our heritage and now i fly the flag of Australia!

Ah but the past is the past. We cannot align ourselves with those Lilly livered-wine loving-white flag raising despots.

Why did you change your flag to Australia?

Lol, i changed it because i had a deal with a fellow player, my aboriginal friend, if i lost i would fly the flag, but it never happened, so just to make her feel good i said i would fly the flag anyway, plus the Aussies are better at almost everything from cricket to rugby, the only thing the Scots are good at is elephant polo, no joke, we were the world champions!

That is because too many Scotts are playing the french defense 😞

See what its doing Robbie!? 😲

This why I have made the solemn path to destroy the french defense with brilliant sacrifices whenever I see it across the board.

The idea is to build ultimatly to build a big pawn center, by using principle from hyper-modern school.

Take full control of the centre from a certain distance. c4, f4, Nc3, Nf3 g3, b3, Bg2 Bb2 is and ideal. Then, when the center is fully controlled by the player of the of the phantom, he puss the central pawn....

That what I can tell, since Yugi he that system with black on me, he killed me. I played badly,I underestimated his opening. when I woke, he had a big center.

try to make mine up, as black I like 1..g6, 2...e6 and usually bring out the bishops to g7 an e7 .... esp against d4 or c4.. for me it's more reliable to keep the 6th rank sound then trying to push for the 5th. used to play a more open game but find this approach better .

still like e4, e5. know a few traps the two knights defence is great ... esp in blitz games... the fritz attack is probably my favourite opening trap...
