I wasn't criticizing the move - I enjoyed it - I was asking a serious question about what constitutes a tactic.
BTW:He didn't play the tactic, he got played by the tactic..so I don't think he should mind any criticism of it.
I like to envision the endgame (which pieces are left and their general vicinity) and try to muscle the game into that picture. I often fail, but it's a fun way to look at the game and funner to play than you'd think.
I'm new to this site (and will definitely be subscribing shortly), but I'll put it out there that I don't see much value in winning at internet chess. I'd rather beat my friends over the table and use this site to work on my game in my own way.
