It's not over, but clearly I overestimated the strength of Nakamura's Dutch.

press conferences of 6, 7 and 8.

Kramnik said something like dutch is actually solid and will have to be studied more seriously now as Naka intends to play it in such tournaments.

aside from the loss to Nakamura (Kramnik won), my prediction remains on track, as each of the big three--Kramnik, Carlsen, and Anand will earn 1 1/2 in the last two rounds.

Because I want to live in the era of the best player of all time. There is some glimmer of hope for that in Carlsen.

Kramnik lost today, so he'll have to earn 1 1/2 in the last round...

Kramnik winning and Carlsen loosing makes Kramnik the winner, he is only 1/2 point behind.

It is impossible for Carlsen to loose at chess. (Moreover, he probably will not lose either.)

Something had to give for Anand to take third. Tomorrow Kramnik wins and Carlsen draws. Thus, my original prediction proves correct in the main: Kramnik and Carlsen tie, Anand third (likely tied with Shirov).

I want more! I want Carlsen to surpass him! And I wasn't into chess when Garry was playing.
