I used to play 1. b3 when I first started playing OTB, I gave it up when I wake up and found it was rubbish and a waste of tempi. I'd pit you against any of my students OTB any day of the week. BUT my students tend to do their talking OTB and with their results.
YOU ALL TALK BIG.....
BUT I CRUSH YOU WITH 1.b3
PUNKS!!!

don't believe this guys...if you like the positions you get out with that move play it...you will learn typical strategies and positions and you will get better with it...probably at some point you will plateau, but that it will not be because of the opening...you can not plateau to less than 2300 because of some opening 🙂

1.g4 and 1...g5 is the grob....
that whole borg thing is pathetic.
and my 1.b3 beats yer 1...g5 anyday.
by the way...I heard Henry Grob was gay...so...well....I play 1.b3
I'm not sure how to interpret your comment about Henry Grob although it seems as if you are saying that you are homophobic so you feel uncomfortable playing a line that was played by a gay man. A lot of people have strong feelings about gay men so it's nothing to worry about. There's nothing to be afraid of.

1. ... g5 is the Borg [b]not the Grob. 1. g4 is the Grob.

Lets hope a new series will feature on TV again soon also, perhaps a Temperal Star Trek - after all we have seen enough time travelling to know its coming and somewhere in the future there must be worse enemies that the Borg although its anyones guess where they are hiding, perhaps in the Pegasus Galaxy!
