I am sorry I cannot live up to your standards. 😞
I found it peculiar the most frequent posters rarely if ever made a move.
After a healthy response,I came to the conclusion some people just prefer this site for the forums and thats there perogative.
Personally,I think this is a great site for chess. The best out there, in my opinion.I do these forums when waiting on players to move.
To each his own.
It's a question of time. To remember what was going on in a game, think about the position, analyse moves, etc, can take up to 10 minutes per move per session.
Reading and posting occasionally takes 30 seconds. Also, the forums are a little more work-friendly than a chess board on the screen.

I am new but I have read a lot of posts in the forums and I have looked at a lot of profiles and I notice some people have stopped playing chess here yet they continue to post in the forums?
Why?
If you think another chess site is better why don't you post in the forums there?
Or why don't you play here?

So my question is, well maybe it's a statement.
"Since you left? why not stay gone?"
Contributions are often and are rarely ignored. Very vibrant community and A LOT of interestring threads. So it's logically that some players keep enjoying these forums even if they don't have the time or motivation to play chess at the moment.
EDIT : I've just read my post. Sorry for my English. It's awful. 😛
