Or they can both be headed for the car and in the same lane which gives a very limited amount of time to come up with a solution. So we have to conclude for this to be a real problem that the chopper and the pig are converging on the car, otherwise there is no problem. So it seems the problem arises because you are forced to be constricted in space by the fire engine which is to your right and a drop off to the left and there is no manouvering room left or right and two large objects are converging on the car. If you are going the same speed as the fire engine, and the road is straight you could arrange things to jump onto the fire engine if you tied something to the steering wheel to keep it straight, pulling a Mcgiver.
You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a
valley and on your right side is a fire engine travelling at the same
speed as you.
In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car
and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is a helicopter flying at ground
level.
Both the giant pig and the helicopter are a ...[text shortened]... ame
speed as you.
What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?
One problem with this sceneriao is your statement that the pig is galloping and you cannot OVERTAKE it. That implies you are going in the same direction as the pig and it is going faster than you. If so, you only have the helicopter to worry about. If you cannot overtake the pig then you have room to simply accelerate to overtake the fire engine and get in his lane. That seems to be inherent in your description of the problem.

What's the answer - or a least give us a clue.
