umm i just read this carefully. in the opening posting it is said that there is you and 8 other people in the cave.
lateron it is about kill 1 and save you and 6 others, or save 1 and kill yourself and 6 others. therefore 1 person must have escaped before and will surely call for help. so the answer is: just wait and kill noone.
