I would tell the 100 green eyed people...
"Okay you green-eyed dim-wits, listen up!
There are 100 of you, but only one nightwatchman. You outnumber him by a hundred to one.
Come on, think about it... do I need to spell it out for you?"
He only replies to the last post on the thread.

You need to say WHY that would work.
It works because everyone can see that everyone else has green eyes.
It's basically the same idea as when I told them to point to someone who doesn't have green eyes... it reveals (logically) the fact that they ALL have green eyes.

You wouldn't know what color YOUR OWN eyes were, you would only know other's eye color.
It would be the same for everybody if you take it to their perspective.

If no one is pointing at me it means I have green eyes. If my eyes were blue or brown, then people who could see me would be pointing at me because my eyes were not green. But no one is pointing at me, so this is how I know my eyes are green.
And the same would be true from the perspective of anyone else in the group. It doesn't matter who you are... you could be anyone in that group because the same test applies to every individual person in the group. You can see that everyone else (the other 99 people) have green eyes, and If no one is pointing at you this is the proof that your own eyes are green.

Pointing a finger at somebody counts as communicating.
And, mabye somebody wouldnt understand what everybody was doing, and mess it all up. There has to be a 100% certainty that everyone would get out.
