Definitely true.

They only thing I worry about when it comes to rising temperatures is when the ice melts in say, Antarctica, will it release some disease that has been locked in the ice?

Clock

@Beowulf
I think if that happens we will have much more to worry about than ice bound diseases. Like where do Floridians move to when there is no more Florida, all underwater, same for LA, New Orleans, Venice, Manhattan, and the like.

We just went around, this very same subject. on debates..
Now though, you've changed your tune, worried about ice-caps.
You must change your mind(?) as often as you change your moniker.
Be a man and stand up for your beliefs...If you're influenced by
the likes of AVJO, MOTT, and MB, sure doesn't say a whole lot
for your character, or image, or as some might say, 'chicken sh**. 😠

I didn't change my mind.
Global Warming would still be happening even if we didn't exist.
Why don't you learn about the drastic temperature changes our planet has went through?

I said the only thing that concerns me is any potential viruses locked in the ice getting out.

Why are you so dumb?

Climate has always changed and it always will. Nature has a far greater influence on climate than man has. Global cooling is much worse than global warming. We should all be grateful the earth is warming naturally. It is much better than the opposite.

Many others lately, relatively speaking of course and we just don't pay any attention because they are usually in remote places that we don't care about.

I don't know why there is this obsession with proving human activity is so insignificant as to have almost no effect on climate.
We are pooping in our own bedrooms and are paying the price and the worst is a hundred years hence.

Clock

@sonhouse

Sounds like a population problem 🤔
I'm all for Eugenics.

Sounds like a personal problem.

So would I be, if you'd start with China, the USA, Russia, and India, in that order.
