It depends how it's marketed, and who we send. The problem I see is that the people who would be most useful on a martian colony, would not be the people that would be most marketable in a tv reality show. I'm sure the ratings would go through the roof whenever some cute blond stepped outside door without her oxygen mask, but how many times can you repeat that stunt?
