How about $59.95/yr for a premium membership - one extra superpower for the piece of your choice.A Bishop that can jump over pieces.
A Knight that can do 3,1 L-shape moves as well as the usual 2,1
Pawns that ALWAYS can move 2 squares forward.
A Queen with optional atomic detonation [destroys herself and everything in a 1 square radius upon capture]
A King that can ALWAYS castle with any Rook two squares away.
EDIT: except into check obviously.

I'll repeat for you one more time - I'm not complaining. I'm pointing out an unfair situation that can arise in a game that you seem too thick to understand..
Furthermore:
You most certainly do not subsidize me pal.
The owners of this site invited me here to play for free.

You don't get it - still. It makes no difference who is or who is not complaining - the fact is: games are started on unequal terms
As I said I have had the opportunity to use the vacation system but did not use it, so where you get the stupid "sense of entitlement" is beyond me. I don't care about use of the system but I care about idiots claiming it is FAIR.

crushing the skull of a nonsub has a certain extra...i don't know what. piquancy, perhaps? i like to send the message 'Mwuhahahahaaaa' when i do it. i think to myself 'Now i'm getting my money's worth!!!'

Where do I sign up?
And if I pay $99.95/yr, can I have a sure win with whomever I play? 🙂
A say that when a game begins, the game must be fair. If it's not, it isn't fair. I don't pay a subscription to play unfairly.
One easy way to fix this is to grant my opponent immunity from timout in my game whe I am on vacation. Is this to much to ask for? I don't think so.
Originally posted by Dr Strangeloveif you don't have enough to do, why not just start more games rather than tilt at windmills? unless this is your idea of fun, in which case i pity you. oh yeah, you're a nonsub, so you only get six games. i suppose that's unfair too.
Not really - but it shouldn't exist anyway IMO.
In a fight if one person has a gun and the other not - the one with the gun has an advantage whether he uses it or not. 😕

I could start another game now if I wished to - whatever that has to do with this I have no idea. 🙄🙄
Try reading the thread before posting unrelated balderdash!
Actually, I can see an angle from which the non-sub has the advantage. A sub can take on as many games as he/she cares to, which frequently leads to putting more on your plate than you can possibly handle. I've done that and there are those here hellbent on making it into an artform.
The non-sub, being limited to six games at a time, can spend more time analyzing each game in the same amount of days. If you and I spend an hour a day playing and I make 90 moves and you make six, which of us is more likely to rush a move and therefore make a mistake?
Of course, the non-sub could choose to move as quickly and impulsively as the sub might, but the available time-to-game ratio favors the non-sub.
Talk about an unfair advantage!
