How long, you naive ones, will you love simplistic thinking?
And how long will scoffers delight themselves in scoffing
And fools hate knowledge?
Turn to my rebuke,
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
Because I called and you refused,

And you neglected all my advice
And did not want my rebuke;
I will also laugh at your disaster;
I will mock when your dread comes,
When your dread comes like a storm
And your disaster comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently but will not find me,
Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord.
They did not accept my advice,
They disdainfully rejected every rebuke from me.
So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way,
And be filled with their own schemes.
For the faithlessness of the naive will kill them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them.

Come to grips with this without falling into oblivion,
thousands and thousands of times.
If you are like this without interruption,
then naturally your work will become pure and ripe,
and your body and mind will be clear and content,
like the crisp air of autumn.

Beyond all tendencies of becoming
The relinquishing of our most beloved
And facing death in the eye
We discover the White Death.

When you far transcend all patterns and assessments, and the arrow points meet, without ever having any objective other than Truth, then you receive the marvel of the Way, become a successor of the ancestral teachers, and continue the transmission of the Lamp.
You cut off the path of ideation and go beyond thinking and escape from emotional consciousness, to reach a clear, open state of freedom that sweeps all before it.
