Babylon in this context is Rome, the center of the at that time pagan Roman Empire. It is not the Catholics - the Catholics are the Roman Christians who were being persecuted.
The Catholics did not exist in any form during the romans persectiing the Christians..

Catholic doctrine teaches that the Roman Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ at the Confession of Peter. (wikipedia)

The Roman Christian tradition is the Catholic Church. What Americans call Christianity is Protestantism, which did not exist until the Middle Ages had nearly ended. Protestantism is the Germanic variant of Christianity which is so common in the USA because of our English-dominated British heritage.

So you are not qualified to te e on a kid when speaking of the Bible and the book of Revelation.
Unbelieveable.......
There were many things written in the Old Testament that were not clearly
understood by even the prophets until the Son of God came to reveal them
and not everyone understood then. Even Christ's disciples were baffled and
still seemed unclear as to how soon His second coming would be. There will
be a time when the last part of Daniel's prophecies and those in Revelations
will be understood. Nobody seems to completely understand now. Maybe,
we want until after Christ's second coming. Right now we can only make
speculations because the prophecies are not stated in a manner to be easily
understood.

Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots, could also refer to Islam, a Satanic
religion, in my opinion. But like I said, I have only read the book, nothing more.

Hum? Sounds like your still judging doesn't it?
There is more that one type of judging. I am doing the type of judging that we
are expected to do. You are probably thinking ot the judging reserved for the
Son. I am sure you remember that Christ said, "The Father judges no man, all
judging has been left to the Son." It is all of a certain type of judging He is speaking
of for Paul says that the saints shall judge the angels.

All judging has been left to the Son. The angels have been sub-contracted out to the saints. What bit was given to you again

I think you need more study of the Holy Bible, so I will let you search the scriptures
if you really want to know the answer.

Ok so where do you get this authority from exactly? Could you show me by scripture where you get this authority from?

Nope your wrong again. The bible CLEARLY says that as time goes on the light would get "brighter and brighter", not stuck or stalled or stagnent as it has become to you and to most religions.
If this scripture is wrong and was a lie...prove it.
But for ones who do now completely understand Revelation, it is no longer a MYSTERY as it is to you and most church leaders like the Catholic Priest that tried to shut me down at his door because he was clearly scared of this book and had no clue what it's for.
The bible also makes it clear that God lets those who he wants and allows to understand the Bible or let me put it this way, the COMPLETE bible not parts of it, if they are ones he approves to know the "deeper things' within it. This book was not written to be a mystery forever or what good would it have been to give it too us? It is here on this earth for a reason and that is for us to learn what it's saying and how it will direct us to life.
IF you don't understand parts of it, the deeper parts, what does that tell you??????????? I think that's obvious.

You claim to know so much about God and the scriptures and yet you ask me
for help in finding scripture. Don't you see the irony here, ha, ha. HalleluYah !!!

I'm not asking anything of the like and you know it. You are avoiding the question and you know that too....
