Both.

(Haiti) followers of a religion that involves witchcraft and animistic deities
bewitch by or as if by a voodoo.
There's nothing "spooky" about it, you either Love God or you don't.

Redemption
Justification
Reconciliation
Atonement
Substitution
He would find out what these matters mean in the Christian faith. Even if he is not convinced this would be a more mature way to handle it.
The Internet attacts a kind of superficiality of people who really don't want to know too much. Rather to voice their biases in short little diatribes is more fun.

Originally posted by karoly aczelWell I guess it depends on the person as to what is worth the risk. For some, falling in love with them is reason enough to take a risk on someone or something they love. For others, love is not worth the risk. In addition, people often have a history in which we can judge them to be worthy of taking a risk on.
How do you judge who is worthy and who isn't worth taking a risk? (Or what is or what isn't?) Just take the next risk that comes along, however far-fatched any possilble good results may seem. See what happens. Whats the worst that could happen, your physical body may die? Bah!
There is a possibility to learn something.

Originally posted by karoly aczelThis reminds me of a well known Christian passage which states that all things work together for good, but then it adds, to them that love God and are called according to his purpose. Of course, the implication here is that not all things work together for good, because not everyone loves God nor are called according to his purpose. In fact, even having "good intensions" are not enough. Have you ever heard that the path to hell is paved with good intensions? There is truth in that proverb whether you are religious or not.
