Has he finished his degree yet?
I think that was why he took a break from RHP.

Or perhaps he has changed his career plans...

You can't handle the truth.
That impression will never fly. It's painfully clear to us all that you just don't know Jack.

Jack is nimble, Jack is quick.
Betwixt Jack and Jesus, Jack makes me sick.
That I 'don't know Jack' is of little pain.
That I do know Him is a world of gain.
So much for the bluster, so much for your guff;
To speak for the crowd is presumptuous.

That was terrible. Truly terrible. If god was a literary critic he would smite you down.

I think he found, as did I, that the sentence "everything I know about epistemology" was an amusing one.

Bbarr be nimble, Scribbles be quick,
Both possess intellects superbly slick,
Unlike some others, who nameless remain,
Whose farfetched beliefs all credulity strain.

In the world of prose, the ear has a nose;
Its lead must be followed to sniff out the rose.
If rhyming lines were the measure of sublime
Your regretable ditty remains, category: "Blows."

Betwixt Jack and Jesus, Jack at least exists. Quit watching The Greatest Story Ever Told and check out The Departed at a theater near you. Or if you're looking for something very familiar, check him out as Randle P. McMurphy.

The Departed
Like wine, Scorsese only gets better with time. Great movie.

On my list of movies to see. Maybe this week.

Bbarr was weak. Weak I say! It takes stamina and determination to stand tall in the face of Dj2becker's mind-numbingly stupid posts. Bbarr didn't have what it takes to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty in the real world. Send him back to his rarified-ivory tower-neverland and leave it to the rest of us to fight the good fight.

(let's see if that lures him out)
HA! That was awesome.

I know he's made many friends here so to anyone who may be concerned about him, Bennett is doing just fine; I talked with him last night. He misses chess terribly and I suspect he'll be back once he can officially call himself doctor. Or if Rob's quote above stirs some blood!
