more bull, in actual fact i was having a perfectly amicable and civil discussion with bbar
making your assertion ludicrous, to say the least.

Its no wonder you and RC fight tooth and nail to defend the WT Org. The Kingdom hall is a safe zone for your perversions. Imagine the odds of having 2 witnesses to your sick perversion. Thats virtually impossible.

On page six galveston75 said "But if this person did not repent or satisfy the congregation and it wanting to protect the individuals in it, then the authorities could be notified buy the victim." This is troubling stuff. This is a sure recipe for underreporting.
I am sorry i find the terms of your concern not only unsubstantiated but completely
baseless to be honest. It is as the article stated the responsibility of every single
Jehovah witness to report child abuse, this naturally refutes your baseless and
unfounded assertion of the role of the prominence of elders is significantly
disproportional ...[text shortened]... of the
problem, for it seems clear to me, that it should indeed have the opposite effect.
I believe it is cause for concern that "the elders" should have the prominent role in the process that they are given. What happens if "the elders" are not approached and the victim goes straight to people outside the JW organization? What does the policy state specifically and unequivocally about this? Is it guaranteed that there will be no repercussions? Will they be smeared as "haters" and "liars" if they make claims that "the elders" do not like or accept or that don't have galveston75's "two witnesses" or where the 'repentance' satisfied the congregation but not the victim? I think JW's policy is likely to result in an underestimation of the extent of abuse.

no, this thread is an expression of your hatred for Jehovahs witnesses, the fact is, we do have a much lower rate of child abuse than any other denomination (seven in the last one hundred years in the United States), the fact is, we do have love among
ourselves. This does not make us superior, its simply the natural application of our
faith. Wh ...[text shortened]... individual using such tactics as this to attempt to score political points, you really are sick.

"In the organization, you have to have two witnesses, and of course it's almost impossible to have two witnesses to a child molestation. So if a parent comes with their daughter to the elder, they ask and he says, no, I didn't do it, then that's the end of the matter. I would like to see them recognize it, take it to the civil authorities and professionals that are capable and qualified to help the victims." Joe Anderson, former Jehovah's Witness elder. 1
Placing abuse in perspective:
Since the year 2000, evidence has emerged of widespread child sexual abuse within the Roman Catholic Church, and of subsequent payoffs and cover-ups by the church. Some evidence of sexual abuse within the Watchtower Society (WTS) has also appeared in the media in recent years. What is missing is a measure of balance.
Sexual abuse is found throughout society. Approximately 1% of girls are so abused by their fathers before puberty, and about 1% by their step-fathers. Abuse of boys is at a lower level. There is really no reliable data which demonstrates whether religion plays a role in this phenomenon. We have never located any trustworthy evidence that sexual abuse of pre-pubertal children is higher or lower in the WTS when compared to the Roman Catholic Church, other faith groups, or in society as a whole.

The reason this is so important is among the Catholic abuse instances it was the priest themselves that were guilty. This is the problem and why I have brought this out time after time and why to the core of the Catholic church it is so detestable as these are the leaders and the ones who are supposed to be the spiritual leaders.
How can God's spirit and direction and blessing possibly be upon these men to feed the correct spiritual food to the flock??????
Do you get the point here????????????

should read the wikipedia article for it is clear that you have not, otherwise you would
not need to reiterate your concerns nor speculate as to what may be the case, for
clearly you are making straw arguments.

This does not address the content of the OP at all.
the OP posted this thread, he has publicly admitted that his motivation was not concern
for any alleged abuse, but simply as an expression of his hatred through a futile
attempt to make us look bad because he perceived that we were somehow claiming to
be superior. Thus it is clear that he has attempted to use , without any substantiation,
an emotionally charged subject for a ulterior motive. It is therefore clear that this is
fraudulent making him a liar and is nothing more than a spiteful and vengeful spirit
manifested because of his hatred. whether it addresses it or not is neither here nor
there, it is relevant because it demonstrates the intent and motive for having posted it.

your a fraud and a liar,. This is not intended as an insult, simply a statement of fact as
is evidenced by your little confession of an ulterior motive. What else have you
fraudulently presented as a 'valid concern', so as to slanderously attempt to make
others look bad, i wonder.
